The effect of the preparation on the blood parameters of cattle
10.08.2024

Introduction. At present, alongside the growth of the population in our country, there is a natural increase in the demand for and need for food products. In this regard, ensuring the population of the republic with ecologically clean and high-quality livestock products is an important task. Producers note that the use of the "Miosta H®" preparation in livestock has an effective impact on their weight gain, milk production, and milk fat content. Therefore, we conducted experimental studies with the aim of studying the effect of this preparation on the blood parameters of cows.

Research Object and Methods.
The main research with the “Miosta H®” preparation was conducted on 10 cows belonging to the Soatov Ikrom farming enterprise in the Shurchi district of the Surkhandarya region. Blood samples from the cows were collected and analyzed in the laboratory of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, and Biotechnology. Morphological blood parameters were determined using the BIOBASE VK-6190 hematology analyzer, while biochemical parameters were determined with the semi-automatic Mindray BA-88A analyzer.
At the start of the experiment, the 10 cows were divided into control and experimental groups, with 5 animals in each group. During the experiment, 5 cows from the experimental group received the “Miosta H®” preparation at a dose of 2.5 ml intramuscularly in the neck area. After 30 days, the same dose was administered again. The experiment lasted for 60 days.
Results and Analysis.
Blood samples from the control and experimental groups were collected after 30 and 60 days, and the morphological and biochemical parameters were analyzed in the laboratory.
Table 1.
The effect of the “Miosta H®” preparation on the morphological blood parameters of cows (X±Sx, n=10)

According to Table 1, after administering the “Miosta H®” preparation 2.5 ml intramuscularly, after 30 days, improvements were noted in the experimental group: erythrocytes increased by 9.44%, hemoglobin by 36.47%, lymphocytes by 2.2%, while the number of leukocytes decreased by 7.9%, and thrombocytes by 3.09%.
In the biochemical parameters of blood, an increase in total protein by 8.49%, albumin by 15.01%, glucose by 10.73%, uric acid by 9.78% was observed, while total bilirubin decreased by 22%, ALT by 35.3%, AST by 4.5%, and cholesterol by 7.05%.
Table 2.

Table 2 shows the changes after the second administration of the preparation after 30 days. The experimental group demonstrated improvements in the morphological parameters: erythrocytes increased by 22.59%, hemoglobin by 54.11%, lymphocytes by 3.33%, leukocytes decreased by 18.29%, and thrombocytes by 8.88%.
In the biochemical blood parameters, an improvement was also observed: total protein increased by 15.47%, albumin by 19.72%, glucose by 14.28%, uric acid by 11.33%, while total bilirubin decreased by 26.25%, ALT by 41.9%, AST by 5.2%, and cholesterol by 8.21%.
Conclusions:
The use of the “Miosta H®” preparation in animal husbandry increases economic efficiency by improving the productivity and reproductive performance of animals.
